I have been co-hosting the podcast series, Gods & Moviemakers, with Joseph Scales (PhD in Second Temple Judaism) since 2022.

This series takes a light-hearted approach to learning (and teaching) about religion and religious history through film. 

 

Each episode explores how the stories we tell on screen have been shaped by myth, ritual, belief, the Bible, and the ancient world - intentionally or not. Movies are chosen based on a seasonal theme - such as "chosen one", "hubris", or "revenge".
